A multi-tiered, 28-acre park encompassing water, sand and wooded land, Howarth Park was the first park in the city dedicated to beach activities. Today, visitors can still bask in the sun or play in the seawater while enjoying spectacular views, and tour the Lewis and Clark Native Garden, filled with indigenous plant species. Set on the Puget Sound waterfront, the park is under a mile southwest of the larger Forest Park.
Open daily 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
