Sprawling over two miles of shallow harbor water, the man-made beach of Jetty Island allows beach-based recreational opportunities. Separated from the mainland, the island is also home to many native species of birds, which enthusiasts can view as they occupy their natural habitats. Reachable only by ferry, the ship departs from the waterfront at 10th Street Marina Park near the northern tip of the town.
Jetty runs Wed. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:25 p.m.; Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 5:25 p.m.
